I am so inspired by Sara Blakely’s self-made billionaire story! You could say for the time being, border line obsessed with her and her story. As the inventor or SPANX she has now become the youngest woman to make the FORBES WORLD’S BILLIONAIRES list this March.

Her story goes a little something like this… Working a 9 to 5 and doing stand-up comedy gigs at night (I love stand-up comedy) she wasn’t looking to make FORBES list one day, she was looking for a solution to a problem. Her damn pantyhose! It was one pair of creme pants in particular that frustrated her. She needed something besides her self modified cut off hose, to make the pants look flawless.

So she took it into her own hands to solve the problem. She took $5000 of her own money and took the risk, did the research, made the cold calls and sold em! I am making it sound way easier than it was, but you get the idea! She didn’t take no for an answer and she believed in herself! Read her story I promise if you are an independent woman, entrepreneur, or just one at heart you will love her story and her. And maybe next time you put on your SPANX you won’t just look fabulous, but you’ll be inspired to do something you always wanted.
